A recent study found 52% of Fortune 100 businesses on Twitter failed to display personality or consistency of voice and did not actively engage with others - resulting in fewer than 500 followers.

My only additional point would be timing / effect - over-tweet and you become suffocating, under-tweet and you&#039;re not relevant enough.
It&#039;s a very difficult balance, and it does cam back to being you / real, but with any other form of communication think about your audience first.</description>
